Inspection Cameras
An inspection camera finds the problem before you take anything apart — engine cylinders, drain lines, duct runs, wall cavities. Ralcam builds one for each job, with HD imaging and articulating probes.

Automotive inspection cameras reach into cylinders, valves, and EGR passages — with high-temperature protection for engine work. HVAC & plumbing cameras use longer waterproof probes for drain lines, ducts, and coils. Home & DIY cameras are simple, affordable tools for wall cavities, crawlspaces, and everyday fixes. Industrial cameras handle NDT work, weld inspection, and manufacturing QC.
Snake cameras, endoscope cameras, and borescopes
An inspection camera with light on a cable goes by many names — snake camera, endoscope camera, borescope, scope camera. They describe the same tool: a small HD camera and LEDs at the tip of a probe, with the image shown on a built-in screen or on your phone. Every Ralcam inspection camera connects by cable or works standalone on its own screen, so there is no Wi-Fi to set up. For help choosing, see how to choose a borescope or compare the full borescope range.

FAQ
Can I inspect walls, HVAC ducts, chimneys and crawlspaces?
Yes — a borescope lets you see inside wall cavities, ductwork, chimneys and crawlspaces through a small access hole, so you can check for wiring, leaks, mold or pests without opening up the structure. Choose a flexible cable to follow existing runs.
What cable length do I need to reach inside walls or ducts?
1m handles most wall-cavity and behind-appliance checks; choose 2m–3m for longer duct runs and chimneys. A flexible cable follows bends and gravity, which suits ducts and voids better than a rigid tube.
Phone-connected or built-in screen — which should I choose?
Both types run on their own rechargeable battery, so neither one drains your phone — the real difference is the screen. Phone-connected scopes (F408A, F606A, H406A) are lighter and cheaper and use your phone's large, bright display, saving photos and video straight to your camera roll; charge them before use, like any cordless tool. Built-in-screen models keep your phone in your pocket, work where you'd rather not expose it, and start instantly. If you already carry your phone everywhere, phone-connected is the value pick.
What does the IP67 / waterproof rating actually protect against?
IP67 means the probe and cable are fully dust-tight and can be briefly submerged in water (up to 1m). That lets you work in wet ducts, drains, coolant lines and oil-filled cavities. It's rated for brief immersion, not prolonged soaking — don't leave the probe underwater for long periods. Important: the rating covers the insertion tube and camera head only — keep the display screen and handle dry.
