Video Borescope | Endoscope with Screen

See it, record it, hand it over. Ralcam video borescopes capture photo and video to a TF card as you inspect — so the finding survives the job and goes into the report, the quote, or the warranty claim.

Inspection You Can Document

Plenty of inspections end in a conversation you cannot win from memory. A customer questioning a rebuild quote, a warranty claim that needs proof of pre-existing damage, a landlord who wants to see the blockage before approving the work — recorded footage settles it in seconds.

What recording adds

Every unit here writes photos and video straight to a removable TF card, so files transfer to a laptop without an app or an account. Recording while you steer also means you can review the pass afterwards at your own pace, catching things you moved past too quickly in the bore.

Specs across the range

Built-in HD displays from 3.5" to 5", 2-way and 4-way articulating probes, camera diameters from 3.9 mm to 8.5 mm, cables from 1 m to 3 m, IP67 sealing, and adjustable LED illumination for dark cavities.

For the full standalone-display lineup including non-recording use cases, see borescopes with a built-in screen. Common applications: automotive, plumbing and drain, and home inspection.

Choosing the Right Borescope

What's the advantage of a built-in screen over a phone-connected scope?

A built-in-screen borescope is fully self-contained — no app, no pairing, and it won't drain or tie up your phone. You power on and inspect instantly, and can hand the tool to someone else without unlocking a phone. It records straight to a memory card.

What screen sizes do you offer, and does it record?

Ralcam screen models range from 3.5-inch up to 5-inch IPS displays. They capture photos and video directly to a TF/microSD card (up to 32GB), so you can save and share findings without any extra device.

Is the screen unit waterproof?

The insertion tube and camera head are IP67-rated for wet and oily environments, but the display unit and handle are not — keep them dry. Only the probe should be submerged.

FAQ

What is a borescope and what is it used for?

A borescope is an inspection camera designed to access hard-to-reach areas. It is widely used for automotive diagnostics, pipe inspection, HVAC maintenance, and industrial applications.

How do I choose the right borescope?

Choosing the right borescope depends on your needs. Key factors include probe diameter, cable length, articulation (2-way or 4-way), and whether you need a standalone screen or smartphone connection.

What industries are your inspection cameras suitable for?

Our borescopes are used across multiple industries, including:

  • Automotive repair
  • Plumbing and drainage
  • HVAC inspection
  • Construction and maintenance
  • Industrial equipment inspection
How long does the battery last?

Battery life depends on the model, but most standalone borescopes provide 3–5 hours of continuous use on a full charge.

Which borescope is best for beginners?

For beginners, we recommend starting with a model that has a built-in screen and simple controls. These models do not require additional setup and are easier to operate.
